A message accompanied by humility is welcomed.
The same message, if accompanied by arrogance, is rejected along with its messenger. Why would they let us in next time?
Attention is a lasting gift which most don’t get disappointed with.

The difference between the two is the difference between diversity and desert; nourishment and deprivation; dedication and apathy; conduction and resistance.
Panic from uncertainty taxes our cognitive capacity. We take cover with what’s familiar to shut off further uncertainty.
They may write it off as rigid, careless, or even reckless.
Lean into the tension because it just may be the watershed moment. What lays around the bend may surprise both you and them.
All along we were thinking that the work is the object, and employees are the subjects.
The inverse is true…and it works.
Elevate your employees. Seek clarity. Let’s all work on ourselves. Let’s take them with us from here to there.
